I love the book how to train your dragon. It's written by Cressida Cowell. The book series is about hiccup (a viking) who tries to fit in. Hiccup has a dragon called Toothless , who has no teeth . Cressida's books have been made into a movie . I would rate the book series : 10/10 . The movie is just as great . The author (Cressida) lived in London and on an unihabited island with her family. There she wrote stories , fished and dragon hunted .

FLUG making

Our FLUG making is well underway. Our prototypes are complete and we have evaluated how these look. We have cut out our fabric which we found very tricky and tomorrow we are going to learn how to sew! Mrs Green has just learnt herself and can't wait to teach us! Thanks to all the parents that have offered to come in and help out!

SNOW!!!!

Wow, what a year for Christchurch! The snow has really been "the icing on the quake". Being back at school today was excititng for us all, especially when we held a secret snowball fight round the back of the hall!

Term 3

Term 3 has begun with a flouish! Already we are well into fairytale writing, FLUG building, Kia Kaha sorting, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing and much much more.

The children are all extremely excited about the terms learning and can't wait to share it with you at SLC.

Last week saw a number of our children compete at an Indoor Tournament. Both the volleyballers and basketballers did extremely well and we were very proud of them!
